GreenTech Industries
The problem // The UK’s first industrial-scale EV battery disassembly business, selling into a category its buyers had no words for. “Recycling” was the nearest available phrase, and it was wrong: the gap was worth millions.
What I did // New branding, positioning and communications built for a new and fast-growing sector: the category defined on GTI’s own terms, a professional look to match the engineering, and one commercial narrative that holds across investors, OEMs, fleet operators and grant assessors, carried through website, film, collateral and press.
What changed // A stronger market position in a young industry growing fast: two new facilities, a new sector to sell into, and a business explaining itself in language its market can act on.

The Galley Restaurant
The problem // Thirty-six years on the Topsham estuary, a Michelin plate and an AA rosette, and a website that told none of it, while bookings slid year on year.
What I did // Rebrand, a new website built as a booking engine, and restaurant SEO: the menu made readable to search engines, Reserve with Google switched on, every booking tracked to the channel that produced it.
What changed // August bookings up 21% year on year (the worst month became the first to grow), with four in five bookings arriving online and same-day cancellations down from 37 to one.
+21% — August bookings, year on year

Tech & SaaS · Growth Advisory & Marketing Mentorship · 2025
Dragonfly AI
The problem // A decade of patented visual neuroscience with the world’s largest advertisers on the client list, and growth decisions being made without a clear view of which channels were driving it.
What I did // Mentoring for the marketing team and proper channel management: reliable tracking rebuilt, content re-aimed at the questions buyers actually ask, and a search strategy spanning SEO, AEO and GEO.
What changed // Organic search up 45%, AI answer engines quantified as the site’s highest-quality referral source, and a team steering spend with confidence.
+45% — organic search

Tech & SaaS · Proposition & Product Strategy · 2025
Adzemble
The problem // 5.5 million UK small businesses spend real money on paid ads with no way to know whether the creative will work, and an enterprise-grade answer that had never been packaged or priced for them.
What I did // Proposition and product strategy from first principles: market sizing, named expert evidence, pricing, and the go-to-market sequence, the idea stress-tested before money went into promoting it.
What changed // A proposition deck ready for board investment and go-to-market, with the addressable segment sized at 140–200k businesses.

Education · Strategic Review & Marketing Transformation · Nov 2025 — Mar 2026
Mont Rose College
The problem // An independent college in East London with four in five students arriving through agents, a paper-based admissions process, and a regulator asking for a five-year plan.
What I did // A strategic review end to end (six priorities from website to admissions journey, learner personas and a tiered catchment model) delivered as a plan the college’s own team could run.
What changed // Twelve months of operating plan signed off, and a transformation framework the leadership is now working to.

Green Tech & Clean Energy · Grant & bid writing · 2025 — ongoing
GreenTech Industries
The problem // Nine years of self-funded engineering and a live commercial operation: entering government funding competitions that are scored on the case, not the work.
What I did // Built the cases: evidence marshalled against the funder’s published criteria, the programme’s question answered precisely, and hands-on engineering knowledge organised so a panel could score it quickly and believe it completely.
What changed // Both bids won (a place on the UK Government’s Mobilise 2026 accelerator and the AutoDMR DRIVE35 award) with further pipeline in progress.

The Ashbrook Foundation
The problem // A brand-new grant-making foundation with a name, a founder and money to give away, and no brand, no website, no public voice.
What I did // Brand, tone of voice and website built from scratch: an SEO-forward Astro and Tailwind build run through Claude Enterprise, without heavy development costs.
What changed // A foundation with a public face in six weeks, and three grantees written up properly.

EdTech · Co-founder: proposition to go-to-market · Founded 2021 · traded to sale
Elevate by ICMP
The problem // ICMP had spent thirty years teaching musicians on campus, and no way to reach everyone who wasn’t ready to walk through the door.
What I did // Co-founded the venture: proposition, brand, platform and go-to-market, plus the video production and industry partnerships (Ableton, Audient) that gave the courses their credibility.
What changed // £10k monthly revenue inside the first six months, and a business that traded through to sale.

Hobbify
The problem // The UK craft market is full of platforms that can’t credibly review themselves, and had no independent editorial layer earning its commission by saying what they can’t.
What I did // An affiliate business set up from nothing: the market intelligence and niche economics first, then the brand, the build, and an AI-visible content engine.
What changed // A live editorial business over a 15-brand landscape, built to be found by search engines and AI answer engines alike.
15 — competitor brands audited before the build began
